Festa da Flor 2026 — the most iconic event in Madeira with floral parades, flower carpets and the Muro da Esperança in Funchal.
The Festa da Flor is Madeira’s most iconic event, transforming Funchal into a floral work of art. The programme includes the Muro da Esperança (2 de Maio), where children decorate the city with flowers; the Desfiles Alegóricos (3 e 17 de Maio às 16:30 na Avenida do Mar), featuring floats covered in flowers; flower carpets in the streets; the 71ª Exposição de Flores at the Pavilhão da Flor; and concerts across the city.
